	Overdrive Download audio books from home onto mp3 players and i pods Through a service called OverDrive you can have a virtual branch library available anywhere you have an internet connection and your MADL library card. Audio books can be downloaded to your computer or portable device. From your computer, some books can be burned to a CD. Click on the OverDrive button and see for yourself the quantity of audio titles that are available. With your library card you can check out the book for two weeks and it will expire automatically after that, no reason to return it.
	Biography Resource Center Full-text biographies of current and historic people.
	Contemporary Authors An on-line database about writers and their works. (Available only from within your local Muskegon Area District Library branch.)
	Culture Grams Features information on the 50 states and over 200 countries. Includes maps, charts, flags, recipes, famous people and videos. (If you're accessing Culture Grams from home or anywhere outside of the Branch Libraries, click here to login remotely.)
	World Book Accurate, authoritative articles from the World Book Encyclopedia. Includes photographs, maps, llustrations and multimedia enhancements.
	Newsbank Access Michigan newspapers including the Muskegon Chronicle from 1997 through today.
	InfoTrac This database contains full-text articles and citations from health, legal, educational and general interest magazines, as well as links to other databases
	FirstSearch This collection of databases covers topics ranging from agriculture to business to geography to zoology.
	Michigan Electronic Library MEL provides information resources for citizens of the state of Michigan. It is brought to you by public, academic, and government libraries around the state.
	SIRS SIRS Discover is an informative database of full-text articles on current social issues especially of interest to students, parents and teachers. An easy to use Subject Tree Search and simple rating system guides researchers quickly to material in a wide range of topics.
	K-6 Online Resources Info Trac Kids Edition and Electric Library Elementary (Available only from within your local Muskegon Area District Library branch)
